Yeah, hey, my name is Dustin McNutt. I'm with 20-20 Accounting Solutions here in Birmingham, Alabama. You know, before life, you know before Next Level Firms, my life was...you know things were going along pretty well. I'd gone full time with my firm but the problem we were really running into was A, not being able to know how to show the value to our clients or really get them to understand why they would wanna go with us. And B, knowing how to price that information.
You know we often times would sit down with a prospect and we would, you know, throw out a number. We didn't even know if that was a reasonable number or not. And, you know, I think they could tell that we weren't confident in that. And so, you know, often times, once we got to that point of the conversation it was, you know, like, we'd throw out a number and then they wouldn't like it and we would continually be trying to bring our price down 'til we finally met what their perceived value of our services were. And, you know, that's just not a good way of doing things. You end up with a lot of clients that maybe you wish you hadn't gotten doing that.
So, since we've gone with Next Level Firms, we've kind of flipped that. And, when we're sitting down with a prospect and we throw out a number we're confident, you know, that's what it's gonna take for us to do this. And, if they do have a problem, which often I think we've gotten a lot less kickback because they can tell we're confident in that number. But, when there is a little pushback, you know, we know how to then help get them their perceived value up to what our price is. And that's allowed us to, you know, even the situations when we don't land the client, feel confident when we walked away. We don't feel like, "Oh man we lost an opportunity." It's like, yeah, we avoided probably a bad situation in which this client was probably not gonna value our work very much, and was probably going to end up being one of our tougher clients.
And so all around it's helped the portfolio of clients we work with be much more strong. You know, if anybody were to ask me, "Should I go to Next Level Firms?" You know, what I would tell them is, "Look, you know, do you wanna struggle along for the next few years trying to figure this all out yourself with mixed, and sometimes poor, results? Or do you wanna kind of skip to the front of the line and get somewhat of a cheat sheet to see how, you know, a lot of other people are doing and being very successful?" And, I would say it's worth the investment to go ahead and skip to the front of the line and do that. So that would be the main reason I think you should go with Next Level Firms. So, that's me from 20-20. Thank you, very much. Bye.
